I don't know if this is official or not... but who cares?! It's Pretzel Day on 19 April 2011... and Auntie Anne's @ Gurney Plaza was giving out free pretzel from 11am to 2pm! Although they only have 2 flavours to give away that day... original and cinnamon... but who would complain? It was F.R.E.E.

I didn't even know anything about this until I saw it when I was doing my usual morning mall rounds with my colleague to check up on the renovation works for shops. It was still early that time... guess it was around 10.45am and I saw the crew was busy setting up balloons and answering some inquiries by some curious shoppers. By that time, our mall security guards were there for some crowd control... guess sometimes they are quite fast on their legs. (",)
We went back to office and came down again when the clock strikes 11am... hehehe. There were some people queuing up when me and my colleague reach there. We queue up like any normal shoppers would do and got our hand stamped... I think this serves as a proof that we have taken our pretzels. Soon after... word got out... and by lunch time... this is what the queue looks like...

The pretzel was nice... not too hard and not too soft... just they way I like it. But... I have only one complain though... the blue pretzel mascot... kind of turn my desire for pretzel inside out. But after thinking from their company perspective... hey... it was their corporate colour.

I'm not a pretzel fan... but having a pretzel or two during your tea break together with their ice cool lemonade... that is what I call a real tea break!
