laNd oF smiLe... tHaiLand... daY 3...
The third day in Bangkok... nothing much actually... we got up quite early. Had our breakfast at the restaurant... then we proceed to pack our things and head to the airport.
When we arrive at the airport... it was still quite early. But due to the size of the airport... we almost got lost. Couldn't locate the AirAsia check in counter... but since we have plenty of time on our hands... we walk from one end of the airport to the other end. Finally, after located the AirAsia check in counter... we were lost again. We do not know where to move from there onwards to find the immigration counter.
Finally, after walking around blindly for almost 15 minutes... we found it! Got our pictures taken again and VOILA... off we go to another check point. There was a huge crowd... and everybody going through the gate actually had to take off your shoes and belts. But the efficiency of the officers made it possible for everybody to get to their boarding area fast.
We walked the mall in the airport on the north side first since our boarding area was at the south side of the airport. After walking for like almost close to 2 hours... we decided to have our lunch. That was when we saw... The PIzza Company! I've been wanting to try this particular pizza joint after reading an article about the company itself on the Franchise magazine.
We order the cheese and bacon small size... why we ordered small? First of all... I have no idea how big is their size... secondly... I do not want an upset tummy on board the flight. But after tasting it... kind of regretting for just ordering small size... IT WAS TOO DELICIOUS! The cheese... the bacon... ARGH! I'm going to miss this splendid pizza... (hmm... I think it's time for Penang to have another pizza joint isn't?) (",)
After that fulfilling lunch... we got to our boarding area. We waited the flight for almost 2 hours... talking bout boredom... but thanks to Angry Birds... and some veggies slicing action on my bf's iPhone... 2 hours gone by in a blink.
The flight took almost 1 hour and 40 minutes. By the time we reach Penang... it was almost 5pm (Malaysian time). Reach home about 6pm... then head out again for dinner.
Back to work as usual on Monday... and I'm planning for another trip to Thailand soon. (",)
