ueFa chamPionS leAgue tRophY toUR...

It is the pinnacle of club football... the Union of European Football Association or more commonly known as UEFA (short form... actually). The trophy is in Malaysia currently for a tour... with only 3 stop throughout the whole country... the trophy had just landed in Gurney Plaza today.

Now I'm not much of a football fan... but at least I know my clubs (well... you can safely say that I only know one club very well... and it is none other than... MANCHESTER UNITED). Though I may not watch football match... but thanks to my bf... I learn a little. (",)

Back to the topic. Today was the first day of the promo tour... and it started around 11.30am when the trophy was carried to the exhibition place. With all the commotion the trophy has stirred among the general public... it was no surprise that the organizers had to employ extra security guards and few cun ladies to escort the cup to the exhibition area. Besides that, you also get to see some other cool stuff besides the spanking, shining and cool trophy. The organizers managed to get the items used by the players and referees... the players jerseys (the even showcase Beckham and Ronaldo's jersey...), balls used in a match (which most of them are autographed by the team...), football boots and even the goalkeeper's gloves. Now I really wonder how heavy they have invested in all this... or the better question is... how they manage to get their hands on all this?

The sponsor of this show is... Heineken. Well... I guess that all this kind of show are sponsored by these type of companies since they are the ones who is making big bucks out of people (a beer can cost around RM 10+/- since all these are being taxed and by the time it reaches the consumers... the price would be like double the production cost... do correct me if I'm wrong here since I'm not a heavy drinker).
